Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Big Jim's Pizza Co. ("Big Jim's," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit this website or contact us through it. It is written to meet the requirements of the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) and other applicable law.
Information we collect
- ·Information you give us. When you use our contact, employment application, or donation request forms, we collect what you enter — such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, employment history, availability, and your message.
- ·Ordering information. Online orders are processed by our third-party ordering provider on their systems. We receive the order details needed to make and deliver your food. Payment card details are collected by the ordering or payment provider, not by this website.
- ·Device and usage information. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records basic technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to keep the site running and secure.
- ·Cookies and analytics. If analytics or advertising tags are active, they set cookies only as permitted by your choices in our cookie banner, and we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. You can revisit your choices any time via the "Your Privacy Choices" control in the footer when tracking is active.
How we use it
- ·To respond to your messages and requests.
- ·To review employment applications and contact applicants.
- ·To review donation and sponsorship requests.
- ·To prepare, deliver, and support food orders.
- ·To operate, secure, and improve the website.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the business: website hosting and form storage, our online ordering provider, embedded map and font services, and — when enabled — analytics providers. Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Your rights under Texas law
As a Texas resident, you have the right to:
- ·Confirm whether we process your personal data and access it.
- ·Correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
- ·Delete personal data you provided or that we obtained about you.
- ·Obtain a portable copy of personal data you provided to us.
- ·Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling. (We do none of these today; if that changes, the opt-out will be honored here and via GPC.)
To exercise any right, call us at (806) 352-5050, use the contact form, or write to Big Jim's Pizza Co., 3801 Olsen Blvd, Space 9, Amarillo, TX 79109. We will respond within 45 days. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision and stating that you are appealing; we will answer your appeal within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, you may submit a complaint to the Texas Attorney General at consumercomplaints.oag.texas.gov.
Retention and security
We keep form submissions only as long as needed for the purpose you sent them (for example, employment applications for the hiring cycle and any period required by law) and protect them with reasonable administrative and technical safeguards.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
